You can glow your own way

When I transitioned from using manufactured skincare products to creating my own homemade versions with carrier and essential oils, it was after a lot of extensive research! For someone new to this, it can be quite a steep learning curve!
Deciding which carrier oils to pair with specific essential oils and understanding proper dilution levels can be overwhelming. It’s easy to feel like you need to take an aromatherapy course before making your first product!
And it's important that you get it right. Proper attention to dilution is necessary to ensure safe application and to prevent skin irritation.
If you're interested in making six homemade products that cater to both body and facial skincare, addressing a variety of concerns including anti-ageing, you’ve come to the right place!
These DIY products are not only sustainable, vegan, and more environmentally friendly, but they are also budget-friendly.
When storing your creations, always use amber bottles. They not only look stylish but also protect the oils from UV rays, helping maintain their quality.

Why distilled water?
You'll see that for these recipes I've recommended using distilled water, rather than tap, bottled or boiled. There's a good reason for this.
Distilled water is free from impurities, chemicals, and minerals commonly found in tap water, ensuring a pure and safe option for skincare.
Its lack of contaminants helps to extend the shelf life of products and maintains consistency in formulations. Additionally, distilled water is gentler on sensitive skin, reducing the risk of irritation and allowing active ingredients to blend effectively, which optimizes their performance. Overall, using distilled water contributes to the creation of high-quality, stable, and effective skincare products.
Distilled water is widely available in-store and online and, obviously, at Amazon 😉
